Ink and material selection
Each printhead can use an ink cartridge selected for the target material, but mixed ink configurations must be evaluated carefully. Cartridge chemistry, color, drying time, adhesion, and maintenance requirements must match the production process.
Integration and automation
The system can be supplied with a controller, printhead mounts, sensors, encoder, network connection, conveyor interfaces, database software, and external alarms. Mechanical protection and easy cartridge access should be included in the final design.
